Cynthia Patterson
I am thrilled to announce two new programs related to our summer academies. The first program, open to all full-time employees and online teachers, provides the opportunity to participate at one of the three US residential sites in the role of “Program Assistant.” As a Program Assistant you will work closely with site administrators to provide support to the daily operations of the Academy and assist with the coordination and execution of academy programming. No language proficiency is required. You may choose to apply for a two week or four week commitment. During your time at MMLA you will receive your regular salary and you will need to secure the approval of your supervisor to participate. MMLA is an amazing program and I am thrilled we will now have colleagues throughout our organization share the MMLA experience.
For more details about this incredible opportunity and to apply please contact Michelle Davis at mdavis@middleburyinteractve.com. Applications must be received by February 15.
As members of an educational company, we all share a desire to expand access to our programs. In that spirit, I am especially pleased that we have created a plan to offer participation at MMLA for your children at a significantly reduced rate. On May 15th we will release available slots for children of Middlebury Interactive employees at roughly 50% off standard tuition rates - $3,000. We will distribute a list of openings by language, site, age, and gender. Students must meet our regular admission requirements and spaces will be awarded on a first come first served basis. To insure fairness to all applicants, payment must be made in full to secure enrollment. You must be a full-time employee, an on-line teacher or member of our summer academies staff to qualify for this benefit.
If you want to apply prior to May 15th to ensure the location and language of your child’s choice, you can access the current 5% employee discount or elect to apply for need-based aid.
